Universo
Universo is a 350,000 hectare contiguous property located along a 300 kilometer trend of significant precious and base metal mines and deposits. Amongst the trend are Goldcorp's Camino Rojo gold and silver discovery and the Penasquito gold-silver-lead-zinc mine. Universo is also located twenty kilometers northwest of Grupo Mexico's Charcas mine and 140 kilometers north of New Gold's Cerro San Pedro mine.
The Property contains a 24 kilometer trend of gold and silver occurrences with multiple styles of mineralization including epithermal, sediment hosted/Carlin style, and polymetallic epigenetic. Gold mineralization occurs within jasperoid silicified limestone sequences along regional scale fault structures and low sulphidaton epithermal quartz vein systems. Throughout the property, there is high-level low-sulphidaton epithermal gold and silver geology and chemistry with key trace elemental signatures of mercury, antimony, and arsenic
Among the significant Universo targets is the Navarro region which likely hosts significant gold targets and contains two historic mines including Esquivel mine and Cinco Estrellas mine which produced 47,000 tonnes of ore grading 16 g/t Au and 900 g/t Ag. Historic drilling by Minera Kennecott encountered 21.3 meters of 11.7 g/t Au and 37 g/t Ag with 1.5 meters of 121 g/t Au. Another important target, Chiqui, contains widespread gold and antimony in jasperoids. Historic sampling of the area contains 25 samples with greater than 1.0 g/t Au including samples with 7.76 g/t Au and 7,756 g/t Ag. There is anomalous gold over a 200 meter strike length and 40 meter width. Other targets include: Salitrillo, a 1.5km² jasperoid outcropping through pediment with old mercury workings (up to 0.15 g/t Au), Lindo Dia, which has abundant jasperoid float boulders over 3 km² pediment (up to 2.7 g/t Au), and La Perdida, which hosts widespread jasperoid (up to 2 g/t Au).
Despite the Property's location along a significant trend and its Greenfield potential, limited modern exploration has been performed. Revolution plans to advance the highest priority target areas through surface sampling, mapping, and ground geophysics to commence drilling on significant targets.
